Welcome to Uzelac Gymnastics

We are a family owned sports academy dedicated to providing a learning experience in an environment that will help your athlete grow both physically and mentally. We offer a list of programs for gymnasts and cheerleaders ranging from pre-school level all the way up to the elite level. Amongst our team are future leaders of the world! Support them, cheer for them, but most importantly, Love them!

Donations Needed for Pink Invitational (Breast Cancer Research)

The gym is collecting donations to be given to the Breast Cancer Research foundation at the upcoming Pink Gymnastic Invitational in Philadelphia on February 25. You can learn more about the meet an the cause cause at http://pinkinvitational.com/. All donators will be recognized in our Spring in the Mountain Gymnastics meet program.

Spring in the Mountains Gymnastics Classic

We are already looking forward to spring. So now, make sure you sign up for the Spring in the Mountain Classic. If you sign up and pay by January 15th, 2012 you will receive two FREE team entry fees. Thats $110 off of the total team fees. The final deadline for this meet is February 04, 2012! Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyous holiday season.

KUI Spooktacular

The Uzelac Gymnastics Team Booster welcomes you and your team to the 2011 Kristal Uzelac Invitational “Spooktacular” in Johnstown, PA, on November 11& 12 & 13, 2011 at the U Sports Academy, home of the Uzelac Gymnastics Team and the USA Elite All-star Cheerleading Team, in Johnstown, PA. Bring your costumes as prizes will be awarded to the Best Costumed Team, Best Costumed Gymnast, and Best Costumed Coach for each session! Fun and Spookiness for all! Congratulations to our National State Games Champions, Amber and Kayla for taking first place in all around! Congratulations also to all our other Uzleac gymnasts that competed.

Uzelac Gymnasts to Compete at Nat'l State Games

Good luck to our Uzelac gymnasts that will be competing at the National State Games of America in San Diego, CA, on August 4th-7th 2011. Gymnasts had to place first, second, or third on an event at the Keystone Games in PA earllier this year in order to be eligible for the National State Games.

U Camp @ Uzelac Johnstown Campus

Our sessions of U Camp for preschool recrecational gymnastic campers were a great success.!! The theme was "Nature" and Dr. Brady Hamady come to the gym and gave a presentation to the our campers. He brought his "fainting goat", Eleanor, and the kids listened to her heartbeat with the stethoscope.  They also got to see an ultrasound of her heart and they trimmed her hooves.  Eleanor even fainted for them, which was pretty neat.  They made crafts each day, but the owl was the favorite!!  And of course, we had snack time and story time, etc.  We hope to see you all again at U Camp next year !

Hip Hop Classes Now Offered

We are please to offer Hip Hop dance classes starting May 5th. Classes are 1 hour each and are offered Thursdays on the following times.

5:00-6:00 pm
6:00-7:00 pm
7:00-8:00 pm

If you are in one of our programs the cost is $5.00 a class (walk in classes). Non members are $10.00 per class (walk in classes). Call the gym for more information.
